I attended Howell Cheney Regional Vocational Tech where I graduated in the field of HVAC Trades. During my senior year (1987), as part of a work study program, I worked with Atlas Oil Company — eventually working on the installation crew under Wally Norman, learning the art of piping boilers, oil tanks, and hot water heaters.
I worked for Wyman Oil from 1990–1994 under owner Rocco Desimone. One of the most important lessons I learned was how important it is to treat people fairly and honestly. Though I was working for a great company, I wanted more.
In 1995 I started East Hartford Heating Cooling LLC. Since then I have been growing and expanding my company. Along with my own customer work I am also a subcontractor for a few other companies. I have established a home heating oil company, Clear River Fuel Oil, with my brother Dan Rolfe.
I have lived in East Hartford for over 32 years. I have made good friends throughout this community and I now raise my family here. I will continue to grow my business here as well.

The Energy Efficiency, Comfortable Home Boiler/Furnace Cleaning and Inspection is a yearly safety and efficiency check-up of your home's oil or gas feed boiler and/or furnace.

- — Full boiler or furnace cleaning — burner, heat exchanger, and combustion chamber
- — Safety inspection of all controls, limit switches, and safety valves
- — Combustion efficiency analysis for peak performance and lower fuel costs
- — Check thermostat operation and calibration
- — Filter inspection and replacement recommendation
- — Written report of system condition and any recommended repairs
No Heat? Check These First:
Check your thermostat settings — make sure the temperature selector is set above the current room temperature and the system switch is on HEAT or AUTO.
Try to get the boiler to turn on by raising the thermostat to its highest temperature setting to test the call for heat.
Check the power switch and circuit breaker for the heating system. If still no heat, contact us right away at info@easthartfordheating.com.
